Bax Castle opening times

Post by marty »

Does anyone know the Bax Castle opening times? I might be down that way tomorrow and was thinking of dropping in for a :drinkers: . Bearing in mind it's a bank holiday I don't particularly want to get there and find it shut....

Naughty, JR! Thanks guys for your replies. We ended up there about 3pm and happily found the place open. The proprietor appears to be a rather burly South African gentleman and they now sell billtong! Fantastic.

Don't fret - I have been there fairly recently.

It was on a Friday night, and the place did seem a bit on the quiet side, but the large South African gentleman was
very welcoming.

On the other hand, I hear that the Queen's Head in Barns Green has a landlord whose grumpiness is positively
Fawltyesque, to the extent that he risks becoming a tourist attraction.

Apologies for not having been around much recently,by the way. Work and life tend to get in the way of online fun and games at the moment......

Glad you're fit and well, Richard.

We were down in Horsham last week, but thought it pointless ringing the usual imbibers up !
