Back with the gin now - a fresh litre of Waitrose London Dry awaiting my attention next.
Sorry to carp on about it....
ha ha HA!
And with much ado, I now have my picture up too! BTW - what is an avatar? was just guessing it was a picture..
You just wait... This weekend will be a bender like no other.
No idea why it's called an avatar - perhaps I should find out.
What time's your exam? You're a student, so you could cope with a SMALL hangover, surely?
i smoke Drum started that at CH its the only nice tasting+cheap combination around.
Waitrose Horsham serves anyone, but it does have large glass windows so easy to get caught! Its also the cheapest place. selling alcohol frm there got me kicked out but then i worked for them for over 2 years!
the irony..

I'm sure I could cope with a small hangover. But there's coping, and then there's being able to concentrate enough to write for 4 hours..
And I'm getting old... alcohol seems to have much more of an effect on me now than it did before.
Actually, ever since the Grecian's Ball, I have never been able to 'cope' with a hangover!

Just drink quality booze - you'll be far less likely to suffer.
However, if a few litres of White Lightning washed down with 'British' sherry is your thing (which, I hasten to add, I'm sure it's not), then suffer you most certainly will.

Do you mean "Ye Olde Pipe Shoppe" in Middle Street?
We used to use that to buy more 'upmarket' fags - Sobranies and suchlike.
A proper old-fashioned shop. If you wanted it, they had it (and probably still do).
Indeed. Flavoured tobacco in what looked like bon bon jars. I used to buy Ziganovs and Gaulloises for my brother for Christmas! The man in there even ordered in cigarettes for me from Argentina. What a legend..
