I was a huge fan of The Jam, but I never really forgave him for 'The Style Council' so I more or less stopped listening to his stuff.

I probably missed some good stuff in more recent years. Oh well......

Much as I loved The Jam, though, Weller always seemed to be a particularly humourless individual.

weren't albums of the era cleverly titled, some faves:

The Pretenders - The Pretenders
Ultravox - Ultravox!
Generation X - Generation X
Talking Heads - Talking Heads 77
The Clash - The Clash

as well as Parallel Lines, Rattus Norvegicus and yes, The Jam..........and this is a message to David Watts........yes MN where are you? get in touch.
