My birthday fell on a public holiday (Corpus Christi). It was cold and very wet, and so, Katherine, I could probably have worn the Inverness cape.
But to make up for that, today is sunny and hot, so we shall go down to our local gravel-pit beach and wear nothing at all (this is Germany, after all).
