Many happy returns David!
If you are presently in France I am sure you will find a wine of suitable vintage and quality with which to celebrate!

Re: Happy Birthday sejintenej!
Thanks everyone. The dinner was Sunday (SWMBO went back to UK Monday for family business), my son arrived Monday, wine crawl Tuesday (and we got a few bottles of very nice white to put down and some red to quaff) and today we took a picnic and went for a nice gentle stroll up Peyrepeteuse

Yes, I did climb right to the top and went to a couple of others.
Some nice reds appeared from a domaine on the way back.
All in all a quiet but pleasant day.
(Edit: my son tells me that at 800 metres this is 200m short of being a mountain instead of a molehill
)

Having more money doesn't make you happier. I have 50 million dollars
but I'm just as happy as when I had 48 million.
