The gucci shoes threads remind me that countries in the continental EU are currently having a purge to root out and destroy the market in fake goods.
I was stopped and my car searched a couple of times in France and near the French border in Spain - the fines in France for even having a fake branded goods item are eye-watering! It is not a case of just finding the wholesalers/retailers - anyone who has received such an item is also on the target list.
Make sure that if you have anything suspect that you leave it at home!
