I am sure she will be delighted that everyone is so worried about her.

JR pmd me about her.

She is fine.

She has an 18 year-old daughter who wanted to do medicine but didn't get a place so she had to go through clearing and is going to Leeds to study Human Genetics.

Jude is currently doing the blue a*sed fly thing getting her organised for the move from Gloucestershire to Yorkshire.

Just to update Mary's post.

I received a long email from her about a week ago.

When her daughter is safely ensconced in her seat of learning, Jude hopes to be spending even MORE time on here !

In her last email she sounded a bit down about her daughter leaving, but has plans for lots of activities for the winter

Wow - I'm amazed you had a thread all about ME!!!!!!

Now I am really worried -

Don't you lot have better things to do than write an entire thread about me? Am I that mad - err - no don't answer that!!

Yes - little girlie off on Saturday 16th - into Halls of Residence - a flat with 4 others - I think we need to warn the others thats she is vile until she has had a shower and dressed in the morning.. or she might be fast tracking to forensics to see about mysterious bite marks on her flat mates!

It has cost me a small fortune - correct that - a LARGE fortune to kit her out - beware all parents sending teens off to Uni - not only is there all this money stuff the government has doshed in about fees, but they now have to provide their own bedding ,cutlery, pots and pans, pay for the intranet (& internet) not to mention the clothes she says SHE NEEDS to be IN at LEEDs! She now has more food stashed away in boxes and bags (result of a friend as well as me ) than I have in the house.... I feel the onset of a massive diet coming up - not just in food but clothes, everything in fact that costs - so I will have to wear my duvet through the winter as I can't afford the central heating!..... I may have recovered by the time she comes home at Christmas....... argh!!!!!!

Don't know - I have forgotton how to play backgammon - I look at those pointy triangles and think Hmm should know this - but don't.
