What a brilliant idea! I'm just off to count 210 grains and see what it looks like in reality.

Nice one, Mrs C, this is great fun!
A vocab level of over 40 seems a reasonable target...?

And if you can get over 45, you ain't doing badly!
I love this, it'll keep me amused for days.
But I do miss Coronation Street.

.... but in mitigation, must admit that a great many words are derived from the french, so easy to identify !

I've got as far as 50 (670 grains of rice) briefly, but keep dropping back again. Mostly I don't know what the words mean, but can guess from my knowledge of Franch and Latin (thank you Miss Blench). If only DR had let me learn Greek, I'd do better.
Some of the words are easy for Blues (pinafore, jabot).

Looks like the Hertford girls are setting the early pace with 47 and 50.
Come on lads look lively!
