You've done well.....I've got 40 and 41 the two times I've done it.

I'v just done two hundred grain.

( in about 7 minutes...)

.... but in mitigation, must admit that a great many words are derived from the french, so easy to identify !

I've got as far as 50 (670 grains of rice) briefly, but keep dropping back again. Mostly I don't know what the words mean, but can guess from my knowledge of Franch and Latin (thank you Miss Blench). If only DR had let me learn Greek, I'd do better.

Some of the words are easy for Blues (pinafore, jabot).

Looks like the Hertford girls are setting the early pace with 47 and 50.

Come on lads look lively!

Argghhh - I got to 50 , but slipped back to 48 over some really bizarre words .... but managed to donate 1630 grains !
