its funny, the french and germans are tryingto IGNORE the irish no yet in 2005 when the french voted no to whatever it was they all accepted it.....pot, kettle, black?

It seems the EU won't take any notice of the Irish vote !

The French government wanted it then and wants it now.

The French people voted against it then and would probably do the same now given the chance. Not least because they feel it makes too many concessions to the British.

I can't see it ever happening without major grief.

If Gorgeous Gordon is so convinced it's the right thing, then give US a referendum !!.

I hardly know anyone who would vote YES.
