Re: Happy Birthday John Hopgood
Many thanks for your best wishes.
Shopping was the order of the day, especially as my wife had her handbag "picked" on Sunday and lost her purse with all her credit cards, which meant I had to be on hand to make the purchases.
We bought the turkey in the market, plus all we need to bloat ourselves on the 25th, did last minute shopping, as everything tends to wind down today. The Spanish celebrate the 24th in the evening rather than the 25th.
We then wandered along to road to a small Argentina Restaurant for an "Asado".
Being within walking distance allows me to drink a very nice local red.
Last minute rushing about on the Old Blue but it is moving along.
My best wishes to everyone for the 25th

Sorry I missed it yesterday, John. I was busy with the last minute rush.
I trust the headache has eased slightly, all ready for tomorrow !!!!
