Happy Birthday Angela!

Post by Jo »

I wondered why I hadn't spotted it earlier - and then realised I was early for the 11th, not late for the 10th!!

Anyway, unusually for me I am delighted to be the first to wish you Many Happy Returns :wine: :wine:

Thank you very, very much everybody! :D

I had a terrific day. I'd had two wishes - to walk by wild winter waves, and to taste again, for nostalgia, some Heinz Cream of Tomato soup.

We drove over Exmoor, buffeted by strong winds and found the destination bit of coastline! The angry grey sea loooked wonderful, and I climbed out onto the rocks so that I was sitting amongst the wild waves crashing and bashing and smashing about me - just enough seaspray flying about to be slightly dampening -

Current husband was standing on the shore shouting "Don't go any further!"

Back at the car, I'd put the Heinz Cream of Tomato in a thermos. I know, it sounds a bit geriatric! But the soup was really hot and delicious. I hadn't tasted it for many years.

Birthdays! Thanks again...

Hey, thank you Liz!

I shall do my best to live dangerously for another year... whither the next perilous destination? What variety of tinned soup?

Love, Munch

1. Try Thailand (it's very cheap right now - no tourists!)

2. Forget the tin; try fish and rice soup. For breakfast.

Might not be much fun for you, but I'd love to watch!
