As usual I clicked the renew button but all I got was this thread. Seems to me that there has been nothing new posted for three hours but I doubt it.gma wrote:Err?

A snaffle, more or less, somewhere. Perhaps its those Icelanders and their dust clogging up the internet and satellites

Active topics - gone! New posts - none!

Re: View Active Topics?
I upgraded the forum software a couple of days ago, and it appears there was a bug in their code which caused it to deactivate.
I've reenabled for each main forum, and so it should start working again - but may take some time as people post to the topics.
Do post on here again if not - and I'll take another look.
Cheers,
Julian

Re: View Active Topics?
It's not just this forum - I use three different forums (fora?) and they have all lost "view active topics" after an "upgrade/update" in the last few months REALLY IRRITATING!!!!

Re: View Active Topics?
You'll probably find they're all phpbb forums, and hence all suffered the safe fate!
The update reset all the forums to NOT track active topics - so I've had to go through each and reenable.
Irritating, but do bear in mind that the phpBB forum software is free, and open source, written by a volunteer community as far as I'm aware...
