Confused................(CH Club subs)

Post by Mid A 15 »

At this time of year I normally pay up the BSB and CH Club subs. I've sent the BSB off but as it appears the CH Club is no more and I know sweet fanny adams about the Association I've not sent the other cheque. Wendy Killner told me things were in limbo and to send a cheque to the Partnership Office if I wished to make a donation.

I'm happy to make a donation but would like to know a bit about what I am donating to!

Julian , you appear to move in exalted circles regarding the Association. Can you shed any light?

I would hazard a guess that others are as confused as me particularly the more senile amongst us!

Haven't been accused of that before (many things, but not that!), but here goes anyway....

As the new CHA does not have a subscription membership (i.e. you don't have to pay subs) then you have a choice as to what to do with your subs.
The suggestion which seemed well-supported at the CH Club AGM was to divert your donation to the BSB, as this is a ring-fenced fund directly support Old Blues. Hence, if you chose to increase your BSB donation that that would be hugely appreciated.

So, is everyone automatically a member of the CHA?

Yup - the membership comprises all Old Blues, regardless of whether they were CH Club members.

Congratulations on becoming a member!
