We got relegated tonight

I'll be watching them next season as usual though.

Your bf may be interested in the fact that my Spurs supporting nephew grabbed Defoe's shirt when he threw it into the Jimmy Seed stand where the Spurs fans sat after the match on Monday night.blondie95 wrote:I am apparently 'according to bf' very happy that we beat charlton as we are now 6th with a game in hand!
On another note, Leicester Tigers are on course for the treble, preimiership final this weekend and Heineken cup the following-which im still trying to get tickets for!
Methinks they protest too much!Wuppertal wrote:I saw this on the BBC football website:

It shows that one reason for them not being deducted points was that it may have had an effect on the Premiership title itself...imagine that there was still everything to play for on the last day of the season between Manchester United and Chelsea...if West Ham had had that points deduction that seems warranted, and therefore been relegated too, they would have nothing to play for on the last day of the season...away to Manchester United. The decisionmakers were considering this too...because this would have possibly given Manchester United a very easy victory against a team already relegated and in dismay. Imagine José Mourinho's opinion on that! That's what this article was saying about it anyway. So it wouldn't only have affected the relegation places, but also the championship too (if indeed it had still be close).
Actually it was thrown up about 2 1/2 years ago but was dismissed as Leicester City didnt want to become second team at the stadium as the Tigers get a much larger crowd than city about 3 times size!Mid A 15 wrote:blondie95 wrote:I am apparently 'according to bf' very happy that we beat charlton as we are now 6th with a game in hand!

Leicester Tigers seem to be going from strength to strength. I can see them ground sharing the Walkers Stadium with the football club in time as I reckon they will outgrow Welford Road.
