Have had an excellent start to the day - Kate`s got her GCSE results - 2 As and 9 A*!
I`m just hoping someone else is going to do the mountain of ironing today!
Surely Kate needs practice for her 12th GCSE in ironing?
Enjoy, Janet

Happy Birthday Janet and congratulations to your daughter on her results!
My daughter got 6 "A"s a "B" and 5 "C"s. We are delighted with those results given the problems we had at the time!

I hope that you both enjoy your Special Birthday evenings.... and have a wonderful time, feeling thoroughly spoilt as you deserve!
(And from another thread, I hope that Gemma has a celebratory evening with her family, too!)

Thanks for all the good wishes, I had a great birthday, as well as a great anniversary the day before! Unlike some parts of Britain we had wall to wall sunshine both days. Two good meals out - normally I only get one meal out for the two events so that was a distinct bonus!
I am now back at work and it is not too bad!! I didn't want to get up early this morning after the two days off!
