I got stuck on 99 for a while, but slipped up with the word 'barefaced'...

I'm up to 50. I think I'll quit while I'm ahead. Otherwise, this could go on all night... :/

Well, you are all much cleverer than me then. I got to 1000 grains, but only had a vocab level of 39. I was disappointed, then remembered it is all about the grains! :D I think my conscience is going to make me addicted.

I've only got 40 and 41!

Like you say though it's the grains that count!

I got to 46 - once!
Was promptly demoted to 41. At that point I gave up!

Has anyone counted 100 grains of rice yet??

I got to 4870 grains, but have got to get on with other things, so have stopped midway! I hope that's a bowlful anyway!

Well, I did manage to get above 39, but then, like everyone else I got knocked back by two wrong answers in a row. I should have given up while I was ahead, but I was going for the grains!

I well remember seeing a 'snake oil salesman' in full flow in a market in Borneo (it may even have been snake oil he was selling!) The before and after photos were grisly and graphic. His elixir would apparently cure all - especially in the love department. He had a large crowd getting out their money.

Back to the vocabulary, I'm now giving 500 grains at a time and regularly at 50 but I haven't got any higher yet!

Same here, but then I am a professional translator. I keep falling back after 50 too.

I read the small print and you cannot get higher than 50! I find their concept of difficulty strange but perhaps that is a reflection of my eclectic vocabulary!
